本人专注于动物基因组学与生物信息学方向研究，致力于利用多组学技术结合生物信息学方法，解析畜禽重要经济性状的遗传调控机制及基因组进化规律。近年来，主持省级基金等科研项目多项，以第一作者/通讯作者在Poultryscience、BMCgenomics等本领域权威期刊发表多篇SCI论文。在教学实践中，尤为注重本科生科研能力的早期培养，构建“课程—实践—科研项目”一体化培养模式，指导本科生以第一作者在Britishpoultry science等期刊发表SCI论文，指导学生在全国大学生挑战杯竞赛中获得铜奖。
